• The problem to be solved: The removal of nose secretion with children unable to blow their nose.
  
• Definition: Nose drawer appliance, its source of vacuum is provided by a hoover.

   

• Presentation: Distinctive features to the already existing models:

  a./  the nose-part is spherical, it only has to be joined to the opening of the nose and not in the nasal cavity. This is a base requirement for practising physicians, the nose part can not be sharp or cone-shaped.

  b./ the nose part, the secretion container and the part joining the hoover are built in one. So one appliance is actually made of two parts conically fitting each other.

  c./ the appliance is made of transparent plastic, so the quality and quantity of secretion can be observed and it is obvious when to stop the procedure.

  d./ the container is big enough not to fill up and not to let liquid pass in the pipe of the hoover.

  The pipes leading to the container and from it are parallel, it makes this unique combination of nose part and container possible. The direction of flow is the opposite, the pipe leading in goes to the bottom of the container, but the one that leads out actually starts from the top of it.

• Application: it should be the part of the home aid kit in every family having little children.
  
• Advantages: It is easy to use, because cylinder shaped object, 4 cm in diameter, can be held with one hand so one person can fulfil the procedure. The spherical nose part does not cause injury, it even fits older children’s nose. It is easy to separate the parts after usage and to clean the apparatus. The pipe of the hoover does not get filthy.
