The opening started at 10 am (CET) with the opening addresses of the hosts. This is Farag Moussa's address.

The opening was followed by the extraordinary presentation of Professor Antal K. Bejczy, about the PATHFINDER project

After the presentation and the addresses the discussions went on in the hall.

The computers installed for the time of the Symposium by the Hungarian Patent Office were a great success. Most participants got along with e-mailing home, and evaluating inventions of the Olympics.
