• The problem to be solved:
  Most of the children have reading, writing and orthographic difficulties, for that reason a teaching aid was required to treat children having dyslexia, to overcome the limits of the children in attaining knowledge, while composing letters and playing.

• Definition:
  The invention is a training aid for the visual thinking operation and an instrument of the visual analysis-synthesis. What the children can not effectuate mentally due to the dysfunction of the brain they are able to manually acquire the capability and by the effect of the exercises they will be capable for the visual thinking operation. The character building set is a well proved instrument for this purpose.

• Presentation:
  The invention is a prevention and therapeutic instrument. Since, such kind of instruments were unavailable as ready-made articles, the inventor designed the instruments and toys for the faculty development of children having dyslexia. The character building set is one of the components of these instrument and toy family. The character building set consists of a series of images and character elements. The characters of the Roman phonetic alphabet were divided into their components in a way that is logical and comprehensible for the children. The set contains 14 different shape character elements and the whole set comes with 24 character building elements.

• Application:
  The character building set can advantageously be used in kindergartens, schools and other health institutions specialised in dyslexia prevention and faculty development, as well as, by the psychologists and speech therapeutists.

• Advantages:
  When the children are playing with the character building set their cognitive ability, attention, observational ability and analogue, logical thinking are developed.

  The children learn the characters in an indirect way. Its application decreases the number of functional analphabets and the spiritual stress can be avoided that the children endangered by dyslexia are experiencing in the course of learning to read. Its highest advantage is that it is a play, that facilitates for every child to begin the learning to read.

• A magoldott probléma:
  Olvasási, írási és helyesírási problémákkal küszködik a legtöbb gyermek, ezért egy olyan segédeszközre volt szükség a diszlexiás gyermekek kezeléséhez, ami lebontja a gyermekek ismeretszerzési korlátait, miközben betűket épít, játszik.
  

• Meghatározás:
  A találmány a vizuális gondolkodás, a vizuális analízis-szintézis segédeszköze. Amit az agy diszfunkciója miatt a gyermek nem tud elvégezni gondolati síkon, azt tevékenység közben, a kezével begyakorolhatja és a gyakorlás hatására képessé válik a vizuális gondolkodás műveletére. A betűépítő készlet ennek jól bevált segédeszköze.
  
• Bemutatás:
  

  A találmány egy diszlexia prevenciós és terápiás segédeszköz. Mivel ilyen segédeszköz nem állt készen rendelkezésre, ezért a feltaláló kifejlesztette a diszlexiás gyermekek készség fejlesztő eszközeit, játékait. A betűépítő készlet ennek a készség fejlesztő eszköz családnak az egyik alkotó eleme. A betűépítő készlet egy képsorból és betűépítő elemekből áll. A latin fonetikus ABC betűi oly módon lettek lebontva alkotó elemeikre, ami a gyermekek számára logikus és érthető. A készlet 14 darab különböző formájú betű elemből áll és egy készlethez 24 darab betűépítő elem tartozik.

• Előnyök:
  A betűépítővel való játszás közben fejlődik a gyermek megismerő képessége, figyelme, megfigyelése, analógiás és logikus gondolkodása.
  Indirekt módon tanulják meg a betűket a gyermekek.
  Alkalmazásával csökken a funkcionális analfabéták száma és elkerülhető a gyötrelem, melyet a diszlexia veszélyeztetett gyermekek élnek át az olvasás megtanulása során.
