The

- The
problem to be solved:
1. Online software compression of a
continuous motion pictures with very high
compression rate. We need not any
hardware card to make this process.
2. The compressed frames and sound need
huge DIGITAL storing capacity.
We can give a cheep, secure and reusable
solution to this problem, with our
DIGITAL DATA STORING WITH VHS VIDEO
RECORDER system.

- Definition:
The computer realtime compresses
the captured motion picture coming from a
normal or a panel camera placed in home
or elsewhere and stores digitally with an
ordinary VHS VCR.

- Presentation:
The recorded motion pictures can
be replayed and processed at least three
years. The cassettes can be reused more
than 100 times.

Quality of stored frames:
Resolution : 320*240 pixels
(adjustable), 16 gray shades
(adjustable, colour frames may
also be recordable), 64 gray
shades during replay.
Frames/sec: 6 (adjustable)
Sound: 4-8 bit, 8 KHz
(adjustable, optional)
Performance: About 4-7 days of
continuous frames in one 240' VHS
casette. The VCR works only four
hours in one week.

and 32 Mbyte RAM Windows 9x or
NT. 1 GByte free disk space, an
ordinary frame grabber card.
