The
invention
- The
problem to be solved:
Sealing of rotation shaft of industrial
valve by diaphragm seal.
|
- Definition:
Sealing of turning or rotating
shafts by diaphragm sealing, illustrated
in the operation of a swash-plate drive
operating a butterfly-valve.
|
- Presentation:
The agent to be sealed off are
isolated by a diaphragm (flat, rolling or
bellow) attached to the housing. Under
the diaphragm the crown gear is located
connecting to the driven gear plate. The
forced-trajectory motion of the gear ring
is wobbling caused by rolling down on the
tooth of the driven crown gear and as a
function of the gear number difference
between the drive and driven gear causes
the rotation of the crown wheel. The
wobbling motion of the diaphragm and the
gear rim is caused by the rotation of the
skewed – formed by the angular
deviation between the centre line of the
swash-plate and the centre line of the
drive shaft - swash-plate.

|
- Advantages:
Shaft sealing having especially high seal
security, ensuring leak-proof sealing of
turning or rotating shafts and at the
same time performing the actuation
function of a butterfly- or ball valve.
By using plastic parts the unit can be
economically as well as effectively used
even in highly corrosive operating
environment.

The
inventor(s)
- Self
introduction:
I had worked for a industrial valve
manufacturer factory as a designer,
responsible for the development of valves
for pipelines.
Since I have been retired I started to
use AUTOCAD system, and I work on the
developing of valves according to my
conception.
