It is a well-known fact that the
flywheel and the pressure plate of the clutch of
cars wears off unevenly, its surface becomes
smooth and depending on its condition needs
repairing.

- Definition:
The invention is a clutch disc (with ferodol
lining) in the milled surface of which a
specially-grained abrasive material is radiantly
stuck in several points. These abrasive surfaces
maintain the flywheel and the plate touching the
surface of the clutch disc during the proper use
(starting, gear changing), thus they ensure an
optimal gripping surface.

- Presentation:
Due to friction, the surface of the flywheel and
the plate becomes smooth during the use, so the
gripping factor diminishes. For repairs, these
parts are changed or renewed. If this invention
is applied, the above-mentioned processes are not
necessary. As the change of the clutch disc is
necessary, the special self-regulating disc is
put in and the car can be properly used. The
abrasive lining of the clutch ferodol polishes
and continuously maintains the metal surfaces.

- Advantages:
The burnt flywheel and plate are generally either
changed or renewed, which are time-consuming and
laboursome processes. The self-regulating clutch
disc, however, maintains the flywheel and the
plate during the proper use, thus the
above-mentioned processes are not necessary.
