Invention
- The problem to be
solved: Welding pins firmly to a metal plate.
- Definition: The welding
equipment uses the high energy density of a
through arc-short circuited condenser battery.
When the pin (in its holder) moves to the ground
plate an arc is arising. The arc is between the
special point of the pin and the plate where the
pin is to
be welded. This arc melts both sides. As the pin
moves, further parts are welded to each other.
The movement is generated by a strong spring.
