Mechanical device to convert continuously acting forces into angular momentum
The invention
  • The problem to be solved:
The invention aimed to utilise the acting static forces for the production of dynamically acting forces, e. g. rotary movement.
  • Definition:
The invention is a mechanical device (a wheel with two axles) that after starting its rotary movement with an external impulsion it keeps moving without introducing additional external energy. It is an alternative energy generator.
  • Presentation:
The concept of the invention can be understood on the basis of the attached figures.
There are two wheels in the same plane, joined through flexible spokes that are bent helically due to the acting forces.
Two wheels - two axes: the centre of mass is put upon the axis of the smaller wheel.
Off-centring the centre of mass - produces continuously turning moment.
The force arm is the distance between the two axes and the force (e. g. weight) is applied at the axle of the smaller wheel.
The attached figures show the four characteristic curvature phases of one spoke under a full revolution.

  • Application:
It can be used as a clutch for the engagement of parallel shafts with an alternate axle-base.
To produce dynamically acting forces from static forces.

    .

  • Advantages:
    Revolution in the mechanics.
  • Stage of development:
The invention is theoretically elaborated, the demonstration model is ready.
  • Documentation available: Yes
