The invention
- The problem
to be solved:
The main aim was to create an engine that
converts directly the hydrostatic energy of
liquids into rotational motion mechanical power.
|
- Definition:
The object of the invention is a
hydraulic-engine where the hydrostatic energy of
the liquid introduced into its pressure area
forces the rotary piston to develop a rotary
movement and this way its axle delivers a useful
mechanical power.
|
- Presentation:
The main parts of the invented engine
construction are: the engine block with the
sealing end-plates of the cylinder cavity and the
bearing blocks, the rotary piston and the rotary
control head. These parts are forming altogether
the boundaries of the suction and the pressure
cavities where the hydrostatic energy of the
introduced liquid forces the rotary piston to
develop a continuous and monodirectional rotary
movement and this way its axle delivers a useful
mechanical power. There is a one to one gear
ratio forced coupling between the rotary piston
and the rotary control head providing a proper
coaction of these. Generally, two rotary pistons
are built in into the hydraulic-engine with a 180
degrees of difference between their angular
positions to eliminate the effect of the
deadzone.
|
- Application:
In case of fluid medium it can primarily
be used for the building of hydraulic-motors,
stepless drives, break systems and high pressure
pumps.
|
- Advantages:
The moving parts of the construction are
exclusively rotary moving components and this way
its operation is not influenced negatively by the
acceleration forces that are common in case of
alternate longitudinally moving parts.
Consequently, such machines can be built that
have excellent specific operational indices. Its
other significant advantage is that simple to
manufacture with a low cost because its
components have plane surfaces and cylindrical
forms.
