problem to be solved:
The
usual massaging machines are generally
suitable for the massaging of physically
sound persons who are actively
participating in the massaging process.
The aim was to design a machine that
offers a self-massaging facility also for
the hardly moving persons.

- Definition:
The invented machine is
an electric motor operated vertebral
column massaging device that enables the
self-massage and, it can also be used by
hardly moving persons.

- Presentation:
The person to be massaged
lies down on the back at the table-like
surface of the machine mounted on a metal
frame-work, but not required to move
during the massage. At the middle of the
tabletop, covered by a plastic foam
layer, there is a longitudinal opening
through which a protruding,
longitudinally moving, elastic (rubber)
roller performs the massage of the
vertebral column. The tabletop moves very
slowly and vertically during the massage,
its movement is approximately 5 cm up and
down. This results in an always
unidirectional massaging motion of the
massaging roller and, meanwhile, a
variable pressing force is applied at the
vertebral column. The massaging machine
can be located in the room, it has the
same size as a bed.

It
can be used for physicotherapeutic and
conditioning massage, for the relaxation
of muscles.

It
can be used at home, when it is out of
operation it can serve as a bed, does not
require additional storage room. Not
required an extra operator to use it nor
special skill. It is environment
friendly, it does not pollute the
environment since uses electric drive.
