The
invention
- The
problem to be solved:
The manufacturing, public cultivation;
cultivation technology and production
methods have been developed.
|
- Definition:
This plant species, Triticum
spelta L. is the first of it's kind in
Hungary. This variety has been planted on
nearly 8000 hectares. In this closed
cultivation circle the final distribution
is assured.

- Presentation:
The characterisation of ÖKO-10®:
in the case of proper standing crop and
soil type the wheat provides high protein
and gluten and favourable amino acid
composition. Sowing time is in the middle
of October, the plant has a robust
appearance. According to UPOV-DUS this
variety has spikes that ripen late,
depending on growing territory the height
of the plant varies from a 120-170 cms.
The colour of the spikes during growth is
yellow and yellowish brown, the top of
the spike shows short awns. This variety
is un-decorticated thousand seed weight
is 77.2 grams, the weight per hectolitre
is 76-79 kgs. The plant is very sensitive
to flower mite and leaf rust.
Exceptionally immune to winter.Sowing embryo
number is 250 PCs / m2. The
optimal spike number is 700-800 PCs/m2.
The sowing
seed weight is 120-160 kg/hectare
depending on the thousand seed weight.
The un-decorticated seed production is
2.5-7 tons/hectare depending on the soil
type. The decortication loss is around
30%.
This
variety's crude protein content can reach
18-20%. Gluten content is 43.5-48.5%,
however the gluten concentration is
variable. The variety's acid
concentration is better compared to MV
IRMA in the fields of asparagine,
glutamine, alamine, metionine, proline,
leucine, izoleucine, tirozine,
fenilalanine, and lizine. The total
amount of the essential amino acids of
ÖKO-10® is 33.4
grams/thousand grams counting in crude
protein value. MV IRMA's variety's number
is 27.9 grams/thousand grams crude
protein. The amino acid index is more
favourable in the case of MV IRMA
37.2(%), ÖKO-10®'s index is
33.8. ÖKO-10®'s metionine,
proline and asparagine concentration is
better than the stately recognised
Zsuzsanna soya variety concentration.
|
|
- Advantages:
This variety contains excellent quality
ingredients including protein and amino
acids. It is also high in vitamins and
minerals. The usage possibilities are
numerous.
|
- Stage
of development:
This variety's promotion is ongoing in
the field of public cultivation, the
possible product list is growing, the
development is ongoing.
