Title: Nanolignin as an
Antibacterial Factor and UV Blocker for Textiles The problem the inventor(s)
wanted to solve: Ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun are hazardous
to human health. Lignin is an natural absorbent
of UV radiation showing antibacterial properties. INF discovered that a new way of improvement of UV
barrier properties of textiles is application of lignin in finishing process. Description: The novelty of the invention lies in obtaining lignin in nano
structure and its application in finishing of textiles to give them
multifunctional properties like: barrier against the UV radiation and
antibacterial activity. The finishing with nanolignin does not cause
worsening of biophysical properties of fabrics and guarantees comfort and
positive effect on human body. Presentation. POSTER Advantages: The technology of coating textiles by nanolignin will allow to reduce
the use of chemical absorbents of UV radiation and to utilize lignin as by
product from the cellulosic industry. This, besides use of natural raw
materials, constitutes an important ecological aspect in commercialization of
this invention. Obtaining new quality of protective clothing – safe, natural
and ensuring wellbeing. Stage of
