Kiss, Lukács  Inhaler to alleviate respiratory tracts complaints
1. The invention:  Inhaler to alleviate respiratory tracts complaints
  • The problem solved:  The main aim was to develop an inhaler that eliminates (prevents) the pollinosis, the chronic trachitis and the asthmatic attacks.
  • Definition:  The object of the invention is a small, pocket size inhaler that eliminates (prevents) the pollinosis, the chronic trachitis and the asthmatic attacks.
  • Introduction:

The inhaler is a 11 cm long and 5 cm diameter one with a mouthpiece at one end and an air inlet opening at the other end. Inside the inhaler there is a volcanic origin material filled in between multilayer filters that is enough for 8 to 10 years of use. Putting the mouthpiece into the mouth, while breathing, the humidity of the air dissolves the active ingredients and introduces those into the respiratory tracts. Due to the inner filters the air impurities (dust, acari) are retained, the inhaled air with the active ingredients eases the chest and produces a healing effect (mucolysis, secretolysis, broncho-spasmolysis, antiphlogistic effect).

During a 5 years use of the inhaler no harmful side effects could be noticed. When using the inhaler the application of injections and the use of medicaments become gradually unnecessary but, in certain cases, the use of spasmolytic sprays may be required. The general conditions and feeling of the patient become improved and, the fit of coughing and the irritation in the bronchial tubes become eliminated.

  • Application:   The inhaler has been made for the patients suffering from pollinosis, chronic trachitis and asthmatic attacks.
  • Advantages:  It has no harmful side effects, there is no risk of overdosage, it does not contain medicaments.
It does not contain moving, rotating components, no external auxiliary device nor external energy supply are required for its use. It does not require refilling or maintenance.
Its use substitutes the treatment in sanatoriums established far away in mines or caverns.
  • Stage of development:  The manufacture of the inhaler is in progress.
  • Available documentation:  Yes, production engineering data is available.
