MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE
INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF INVENTORS'
ASSOCIATIONS (IFIA) Congratulations to the Association of Hungarian Inventors (MAFE) on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of GENIUS 2000 Virtual Exhibition ! This on-line exhibition is an event in line with present trends, with the development of e-business and Internet. We, in IFIA, are particularly happy that there will be a link between the GENIUS 2000 Virtual Exhibition and another web site, which also corresponds to modern trends, namely IFIS, the IFIA Internet Inventions Store. I am pleased to inform that after seven months from its launching on November 15, 1999, IFIS already promotes 83 inventions from 31 countries. I am personally convinced that IFIS will become before the end of this year 2000 the TOP Internet web site for the commercialization of world inventions. No other organization has a network of inventors as IFIA has. - our members come from 104 countries and from all continents. And IFIA, a non-profit organization, is the only worldwide organization which is recognised by inventors as their organization, the only worldwide voice which can speak on behalf of inventors.
